Every year Caruso Family Charities awards 5-6 Bill Meyn scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are or have been treated in Colorado for a life-threatening disease or life-altering event. Caruso Family Charities has provided over 88 Bill Meyn Scholars with over $56,000 in educational support.
Who is Bill Meyn: Bill Meyn was Jerry Caruso, the founder of Caruso Family Charities College baseball coach at Regis University. Bill was an avid supporter of Caruso Family Charities before he passed away of prostate cancer in 2010. He made a significant impact on Jerry’s life, and Caruso Family Charities feels that naming our scholarship program after him is the best way to honor him and his commitment to Caruso Family Charities.
